First Singaporean to Space
Be a Part!
If you truly believe in our meaningful mission for our Nation, you can "be a part" helping to fund the expenses from as little as $10 and help spread the word to your friends and colleagues. We'd like to mention your contribution on GoSpace.sg, under the Header "Those who Believe."
But why?
Going into the 6th year of this project since 2013, we have asked ourselves several times, "why do this?" And a question kept occurring to us, "why not?"
It started with one man's quest to give back to Singapore - and Lim Seng has already spent millions of his family's savings to date. This earned the respect of many volunteers as we saw someone who put his money where his mouth is.
More importantly, the project quickly took on a life of its own to become one that is for the people, by the people; to deliver a feat that no one has done before in Singapore - to send OUR first Singaporean into Space. As news spread, many volunteers come and played a part - but we need more.
Should the launch be successful, will Singapore be proud? Will it break a mental barrier in our young and old, that great possibilities await them truly? Will more Singaporeans be willing to step up and take more risks to leapfrog into a brighter future?
We strongly and sincerely believe that we cannot afford to lose the hunger, spirit and the steel that built Singapore. Have we reveled too much in our success and forgot that nothing came for free? Are we still ahead of the curve today? Should we not believe in our own people?
As Steve Jobs shared, "Stay hungry, stay foolish."
The First Singaporean to Space project is a platform for like-minded people and companies to come together. We welcome you to BE A PART of this historic and meaningful endeavor for our nation. YOU can contribute. Every launch attempt, including the one that did not fly are very costly efforts. We hope to raise some funds to help with the unrelenting launch attempts' expenses.
We look forward to hearing from you.
